A Note From Chad
This Coronado client called us after two other contractors had agreed to large repair contracts but still couldn’t stop a persistent leak.
For nearly twelve years, water continued making its way through the kitchen cabinets because the homeowners simply couldn’t find a contractor they felt they could trust.
We found old, cracked caulking hidden behind a piece of roofing shingle and exposed the source of the leak in about fifteen minutes.
Needless to say, they were ecstatic, and they asked us to stay and help with several other issues around the home.
As we continued the work, we found that the home’s 90+ year-old building paper had failed. We replaced it with new Tyvek house wrap, added insulation, and installed new siding on several sides of the house.
We also replaced roughly a dozen window sills, repaired damaged siding, replaced exterior French doors, rebuilt the front portico, and painted the entire home.
In the end, we made sure the house was leak-free and better protected from the elements.
Most importantly, their family became part of ours.
